In Memory of
Lillian Forte
-

Lillian “Bitsy” Forte passed away at the age of 75 on December 23, 2021 in Katy, Texas. She was born on July 13, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Anthony “Tony” and Eleanor “Terry” Forte.

Bitsy was a dedicated daughter, oldest sister to two sisters and three brothers, niece, aunt, friend and most importantly mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  The only thing Bitsy loved as much as her family was her profession.  As a Registered Nurse for over 40 years she developed a reputation for being a true advocate for her patients.  Bitsy spent the majority of her career in Home Health and/or Hospice where she ensured her patients crossed from this world to the next with grace, dignity, and family at their side.

Bitsy is survived by her children Cathy Flynn, Tom (Beth) Flynn, Kelly (Charlie) Wurzbach, and Patrick (Sarah) Flynn.  Her ten grandchildren, David (Angela) Wurzbach, Katelyn (Joseph) Suniga, Mary Wurzbach, Magdelyn Flynn, Hannah Wurzbach, Phelan Flynn, Karen Wurzbach, Liam Flynn, Luke Wurzbach, and Sullivan Flynn.  One great grandchild, Silas Wurzbach, and one on the way.  Her brother Patrick Forte and sister Bernadette Forte.  And numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tony and Terry Forte, her sister, Karen Mueller, brothers, Eddie Forte and Ralph Forte, and nephews Corey Forte and Mark Mueller.

Please join Bitsy’s family in a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, January 8, 2022, 11AM – 12PM Memorial Service with reception immediately following at The Schattenbol at DeCock Farm, 2374 US Hwy 90E, Castroville, Texas 78009.

There will be a second Celebration of Life for Bitsy this summer in New York. Details to follow.
