Ms. Tinuke, I remember the first day I meet you and you were introduced to me as my line manager, working with you has been one of the most amazing things that has happened in my career. You are kind, even in your meticulousness, always easy to talk to, always kind. This is such a sad loss and I pray that your family and loved ones are comforted. Rest in the bosom of the Lord Jesus and continue to rest in his love, just as you loved him when you were here. Sun re o Atinuke.

Ms Tinuke, this is a very difficult pill to swallow! Life indeed can be very unfair. I’m glad I knew you as a colleague and my sister’s friend. May God grant your family and us all the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss!Rest on Tinuke…rest on. God be with you till we meet again.

Ms Tinuke… I can’t believe I am actually doing this. I remember our days working at Discovery House.. I remember the amazing times we had organising events and administrative functions, I would say to you “Ms Tinuke, who taught you these things and you will smile gently and say no worries you will get it someday”… Like we would always say “God knows best, who are we to question God”. Dear Ms Tinuke, till we meet again.. Sun re… Rest in peace

This is rubbish . What’s life like this ? This isn’t the plan we had . This isn’t what we prayed about . This isn’t the next conversation we were to have . I didn’t want to open this . I had to go to bed and wake up and confirm . Nope it wasn’t. I just went through our messages from 2021. Did I even say thank you enough. I remember you escorting to take a cab in 2015, while the blood was flowing as I was having what would finally become a miscarriage . Did I say thank you again. God!!!

Atinuke. Unbelievable. Unimaginable. I spent the last couple of weeks going through videos and photos from past school events in preparation for something. You were in so many pictures and I wondered how you were doing, that it had been so long that we had spoken. I had no idea that my reminiscing was happening at the same time you were preparing to transition to pain-free, pleasure-filled place with Christ.
As I viewed pictures and videos of past events, they brought back many memories of you. When you were designated the U-factor person at events, guaranteed to identify trouble starting and cutting it off early. You were so good at it. I remember how you’d come in all nice-looking in the morning and by midday you would look worn-out with your hair wild – the drama of handling parents’ concerns. I remember your praying and encouragement when we had crises. Each time I started a new venture and I needed someone I could trust handling things, I moved you there. You yielded to being assigned new duties and graciously accepted to do them, smiling. You were there for me, no controversy. I remember so many good times. In life there are always good times and tough times, and I imagine I gave you a few tough times, but I honestly cannot remember you giving me any tough times. You were such a delight to work with. It hurts that you’re no longer here, and that we had lost touch, but I thank God for my fond memories, and I thank God for the assurance that you are in a better place.

Learnt a very critical lesson Ms. Atinike, what you have on your mind, do, before life takes the opportunity away.
We had a staff in 2020 in DH; who reminded me a lot of you. For the longest time I thought of reaching out to check up on you alas I never got around to doing it. You always had an dea for solving problems. I m glad I met you in this life time. Rest sweet soul.

Ms. Tinuke,
Words fail me in expressing my shock at your glorious change of address however because I know who you were and what Godly values and virtues you stood for, I am very confident that you are in the best place ever and that is with the Master himself. Thank you for the impact you made in the lives of many while you were on this side and I look forward to seeing you again, soon, at the rapture.
