Raymond Donley Jr., 90, passed away in Houston, Texas on September 23, 2014. He was born on September 26, 1923 in Tampico, Mexico to Raymond Donley Sr. and Delores Quiñonez Donley. He was just 3 days shy of turning 91. He was in the U.S. Army during World War II, when he fought bravely at the Aleutian Islands. He had a love for Ballroom Dancing, politics, and playing the card game Canasta. He was a resident of Houston, Texas at the time of his passing and always reminisced about his earlier years in Austin, Texas.
He is survived by his brothers, Manuel Donley, Edward Donley and sister, Lupe Manchaca; daughter, Beverly Cregar-Donley; sons, Raymond Donley III, Dennis Donley, and Billy Donley; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Interment will be at the Houston National Cemetery on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 9:30 AM.
