Ricardo Edmudo Burgos “El Sapo” of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 20, 2022, after a long & courageous fight with his illness. He was born on October 15, 1961, in El Salvador to Ricardo Burgos Sr & Amalia Burgos.

Ricardo graduated from ‘El Ministerio De Educacion De la Repulica De El Salvador’ where he received his bachelor's in industrial automotors on January 30th, 1981. After completing his education, he decided to seek a better life in the United States in the year 1984. He traveled around the country to DC, Los Angeles, and finally settled down in Houston Texas where he met, and married the love of his life, Ana Maria, in February 1991. He would go on to become a diesel mechanic, and spend his free time riding motorcycles, playing soccer, taking impromptu trips with his wife, and recently studying Salvadorian politics. Those who know Ricardo, knew his love for motorcycles, cars, 70s-00s alternative and rock music. He was the life of the party, a helping hand for those who needed him, and loved his family dearly.

Ricardo Burgos is survived by his loving wife, Ana Maria Burgos, his children Nancy, Leonardo, Richard, Aillenn, and daughter in law, Maritza. His grandchildren, Brian, Brandon, Leonardo II, Bria, Adrian. His Siblings, Luis, Leonardo, Lucy, Yesenia, and many Nieces and Nephews, whom he loved dearly.
