Angela, Audra(Bear)and Deloris,
Bob just called me with the news of your Dad. I am so very, very sorry. I don't know if you girls even remember when I came out to stay with you all for a week in 1981 but I still remember how much fun we had. Your dad was almost 16 years older than me but he always picked on me(can you believe that?). Long years ago, he was at our house here in Florence and put me on his shoulders. The next thing I knew, he had flipped me and I was standing on the ground. Boy, did that scare me!
Seriously, I certainly understand how you are feeling. My Dad died when I was 14(41 years May 12). You will make it through-it will be very hard but just remember all the wonderful memories. That is what will keep you going. Be strong for him, make him proud still. He has always been so proud of both of you.
My husband passed away last March so my daughter knows where you are right now. She will be 23 tomorrow and she worshipped the ground her dad walked own.
Just know that we love you and will be praying for all of you..Take care and please let me hear from you soon.
Love you, Martha Clark Barwick
