Mr. Isaac Olaide Durosaro’s Dash:
Isaac Olaide Durosaro was born on February 13th, 1954 to the family of Alhaji Salami & Alhaja Sabitu Durosaro at Gege, Ibadan.
He went to Public Day School Kobomoje, Yemetu Ibadan and St. Michael Modern-Day School, Yemetu, Ibadan from 1960 to 1972. He moved from Ibadan to live with his brother the Late Mr. Lekan Durosaro at Osogbo where he was introduced to Mr. Olubimo who oversaw Govt Training Center “A Vocational School” in 1974. He learned welding and his first work was a piece of iron chair for his niece that still stand as of today.
Laide Durosaro as he was fondly called was a man of many skills. After a year in vocational school, he was introduced by Mrs. Durosaro (Brother’s wife) to Mr. Lekan Adeleye & Mr. Shittu at Oyo State Fire Service where he started as a Fire Safety Officer where he worked from 1975 to 1992.
He got married in Nov 14th, 1975 to his beautiful wife, Mrs. Funmilola Durosaro.
After he left Oyo State Fire Service, Ibadan, he joined Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) and worked there from 1994 to 2016. He worked in several roles and retired as an Asset Fire Officer in 2015.
He returned to his fire safety profession with Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy, Kwale Delta State, Nigeria from 2016 to 2019, where he resigned as a Fire Chief.
He then moved to Houston, TX USA in November 2019.
He was an ordained Deacon and lived his entire life for Christ.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Funmilola Durosaro, his son; Olayemi Durosaro and his daughters; Mrs. Oluwaseun Lawal, Mrs. Titilola Adeyemi, Mrs. Ololade Olagbemiro; Grandsons and Granddaughters as well as his Brothers.
Mr. Isaac Olaide Durosaro went to rest with the Lord on Saturday, March 20th, 2021.
Services are scheduled to take place at Braeswood Church - Branch Forest Campus with the Visitation taking place on Friday, April 2nd from 11am to 2pm, and the Funeral Service taking place on Saturday, April 3rd from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Carmen Nelson Bostick Historic Cemetery (12317 Holderrieth Rd. Tomball, TX 77375).

Daddy lived a life worthy of Emulation. The great teachings of life to his Family are seen in his kind hearted Children and wife who can go the extra mile to make people around them, happy. Daddy will be greatly missed. We love you but God loves you most. Continue to rest in the blossom of our Lord, till we meet to part no more.
No doubt, my beloved friend ( DEACON ISAAC OLAIDE DUROSARO) should be in the bosom of Jesus Christ our saviour now. I am very confident of this because of the illustrious and Godly live he lived when he was on earth. Since we've been friends for about 35 years ago, I have not seen any situation that got him so angry and offended, he made Peace with everyone. Infact, I am yet to recall any situation that made him to tell lie, because had no delight in it. He was a very honest and hard-working man to the core.
A very dedicated lover of God and everything about God's works. He contributed significantly to many lives around him.
Dear friend, I pray that your afterlife would be blissful and the family you left behind will continue to enjoy the peace of God.

A privilege it is to write about my cousin, my brother, LAIDE DUROSARO. We were muslims. He was known as Sumaila. He was a non assuming, critically minded. Lover of truth and hard-working! He was very determined to overcome obstacles and the mountains of life. He loved success! From the cradle, he joined the Fire Service. He was trained in the rudiments if safety.. he later joined the services of Shell Petroleum Development in Nigeria. He steadily rose through the ranks. Adding knowledge and skills to become a successful Shell staff, in Nigeria and some other countries till he retired some years ago. He was loving. A giver, an helper, a ready advicer, an encourager. Among other qualities! I love him dearly! Will miss him much! May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace! Amen!
