Although I did not get to personally meet Dianne face to face, over the years I had many occasions to speak with her by phone. She was always so pleasant and friendly, and performed a great service to our office (County Clerk). I was truly saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences to the entire family.

We will understand it all better but for now the pain and hurt of the separation that comes with death is very real and extremely challenging. When times like this come in our life it is comforting to rest in what we know about God. We know that He makes no mistakes. He has plans to bless and not harm. He wants to prosper and not destroy. He loves us so much that He gave His only Son for our salvation. His sacrifice has provided us with the eternal privilege and honor of reigning with Him in heaven. With that knowledge securely in hand we know that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal! Allow heaven to heal you and give you peace in the same way that God has healed and given peaceful rest to Barbara. Sure there will be some rough days ahead but the joy is in knowing that she is at peace and resting in the security of God’s loving arms. Take care and know that my prayers, along with Melissa, James, Lynn, Gloria, and Neiki are with you and your family right now and for the days to come.

To Dianne's family, I send my deepest sympathy at the loss of such a kind and gentle lady. She brightened our days for many years with her radiant smile and her positive outlook on life. She was very generous and considerate, a true joy to know - as a co-worker and as a friend.

Like many others, I was saddened to hear of Dianne's passing. As anyone that knew her can attest, she was the kindest and most caring soul that you could ever hope to meet. Dianne always had a kind word or thought for everyone and the world is a little less bright now that she has gone on to better things.

Dianne was a true lady and I can only be grateful that I had the opportunity to know her and work with her.

Having known Dianne for these past almost 20 years, has been one of the great pleasures in my life. She will always be the “Young Lady”, because she is a few months older than me and I’m not an old man yet (one of our inside jokes). I would greet her every morning with: “Howdy Young Lady, how did it go last night?”. She would always respond with a big smile and “Everything is good.” This always started my day with confidence that everything was going to be good that day. I saw her a few months ago and she was having a good day. We talked and she smiled and shook and nodded her head. I know she knew I was there and when I mentioned that the Library Lady, Linda, and I would be back soon to visit, she responded with a great big grin. I will always remember that big grin. We will all miss her.

I was so sad to find out about Dianne's passing. Dianne was one of the most caring and kind people I have had the priviledge of meeting. She always had a smile on her face, and was quick to help out wherever/whenever she could. I remember she always bought the coffee and flavored creamers for the coffee pot in the computer room...not just one though, you had an assortment to choose from. And I remember one time telling her that I would buy some next time, or give her money, because it wasn't her responsibility to provide coffee for the department. She was really offended by that, and told me that she did it because she enjoyed making her FRIENDS happy! She put me in my place! haha Dianne was truly a remarkable lady, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to know and work with her.

I send my thoughts and prayers to the family of Dianne Moss. She was a beautiful spirit with a big heart. Her presence alone was uplifting to many. Through the years I worked with Dianne, she never had an unkind word to say about anyone. She truly loved her job and care deeply for those she worked with. One of my funniest moments with Dianne was when she would wear her hunting cap. I would ask her, so are you going hunting today and she would say, yes, two legged hunting with a big smile. She will be forever be in our hearts. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear about Dianne, and send my thoughts to her loved ones. Dianne was a lovely person; she was truly one of the kindest people I've ever known. I worked with her at Fort Bend County until I left in 2005. She will be missed, and I know that she will always be well loved by all who had the good fortune to know her. My heart is with you.
