In Memory of
Barbara LeFavour
-

Barbara Ann LeFavour, 77, passed away in her home on September 23, 2018. She was born in Houston Texas to Otis and Bertha Williams in 1941. Later in her life, she met and fell in love with George LeFavour.

Like many of her age, Barbara lived and experienced some of the most progressive decades the world has ever seen. She would often look back on a time where a hot dog cost 14 cents and gas was no more than 50 cents. Simpler times, she used to say. However, despite the ever-changing world, she rose to meet it as a strong-willed and determined women. Focused on providing for her family. She was loving, kind, and stoic; someone who would do anything for the ones she loved most. She was the foundation of her family. The Matriarch. She will be deeply missed as she was deeply loved. Thank you so much for being the mother and grandmother of a lifetime.

She is proceeded by her father and mother Otis “Grand Tip” Williams and Bertha Young. Her Aunt Mildred “Minnie” Stagner. Her sister Carolyn Jones. Her husband George “Big Daddy” LeFavour and her son Christopher LeFavour.

She leaves behind two daughters Brenda Rodgers and Renee Ledbetter. Three beautiful granddaughters Abbie Ledbetter, Hayley Rodgers and Brooke Ledbetter. A nephew Jeffrey Jones his wife Holly and their children Daniel and Emma; her niece Jennifer Cooper and her husband Alan and their son Jackson.

May she rest in peace and watch over the next generation.

The family will be receiving guests after the funeral at Barbara's house.
