Doris May Oertli

Doris May Oertli, 62, passed away at her home in Brookshire, Texas, surrounded by her family in the early morning hours of February 8, 2015. She was born on May 2, 1952 in Seguin, Texas to Herman and Lucille Tschoepe.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Greg Oertli; sons Eric Oertli, William Oertli & wife Rebekah, and Michael Oertli; daughter, Sherrie Hartless & husband William; her mother, Lucille Tschoepe; her brother, Charlie Tschoepe & wife Sharon; her sister, Jessie Mitscheling; her grandchildren, Clint Nixon & wife Christina, Crystal Nixon & Josh Buttles, Candace Nixon, Gavin Matthews, Stockton Oertli, Tyler Hartless, and Colby Hartless; and her great-grandchildren, ChloeAnn Nixon, Corbin Nixon, and Westin Buttles.

She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Tschoepe; and her sister, Mary-Ann Tschoepe.

A visitation and viewing will be held at the First Baptist Church of Katy (600 Pin Oak Road) on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM. The funeral will be on Wednesday morning at 10AM at the church. Burial will take place at the San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin Cemetery following the funeral at 3:00 PM.
