Ellen Romstadt Vascik, 70, passed away on November 23, 2025 in Houston, Texas. She was born on October 26, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph Romstadt and Emily Ruth (Bacon) Romstadt.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Paul Vascik; their daughter, Melody; and grandson, Aurum. She is also survived by three of her brothers, Gil, Tom, and Danny; two of her sisters, Ruthie and Mary Ann; her foster brother, George Palm; and her foster sister, Kitty Palm-Houser.
She was preceded in death by her parents at an early age; also, two brothers, Joe and Mike; sister, Jan; and her foster parents, who raised her, George and Marjorie Palm.
A visitation will be on Tuesday evening, December 2, 2025 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service from 5pm to 9pm. On Wednesday, December 3, 2025 services will be held at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Community (13350 Ashford Point Dr. Houston, TX 77082) starting with visitation at 9:30 am and Mass at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077) at 12 noon.
