This family holds a dear and special place in my heart that no one can hold. Mrs. Garza taught me how to gracefully become a widow. It was her words and face I saw at the moment I stepped in her shoes one day. She was always kind and thought with her words to me. You could see her pride, love, and joy for ALL of her children in her beautiful eyes and gentle smile. May happy joyful memories rise up and be spoken of in each loved one and bring you great comfort. What a grand legacy Ernestina Garza has left. What a life well lived!
“Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: “Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all.” Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates.”
