Felistus,
Thanks for all the good times - our laughs, your surprise birthday party, our lunches, our picture taking, our sitting in a car repair shop taking silly selfies, and the times we just hung out sharing life together. Your kind, loving spirit spread to all who knew you. You were so brave over the past year. You loved the Lord. You loved your children. You loved your mom and dad. You loved your brothers and sisters. You loved your Bible. I am so glad we met in our Sunday School class. We went through A LOT together and grew closer through it all. I will always cherish the memories and all the things you taught me about Africa. May you rest in peace. I love you. Patti

Felistus was a great woman of faith who loved God and her children. She never gave up and trusting God to heal her.
She always had a smile on her face and was so thankful for the time God allowed her to spend with her children and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

What a beautiful angel the Lord has called home! I was so blessed to know dear Felistus. She was one who could walk in a room and the radiance of the Lord would shine through her. Her life's story was more than inspiring-it moved others to want more of Christ. Her quiet spirit spoke volumes-she would sit quietly absorbing the Word of God. Despite anything going on, Felistus would bring out the best of you with her beautiful smile. I can only cherish the moments in Sunday morning classes at church, Saturday morning Women's gathering, moving and unpacking....even the last visit just before her passing. My sister was all there even then a little less than 2 weeks before her call home-testifying about the goodness of the Lord and soaking in His Word. I miss you already, Felistus.... Thank you, sister, for your Spirit-filled life. You will never be forgotten. You will always be loved.

To her dear children, I was so blessed to get to know your mom during the past year. I always told her that her smile always brightened up my day. She loved all of y'all so much and I know she didn't want to leave you. God has a reason for everything that happens and when I get to heaven I plan on asking Him about this whole deal. Jean, you have grown up into a fine man during this last year. You have been the strong shoulders that your siblings needed. Faila, I have heard your mom talk about how she wants you to grow into a strong Christian woman. Well, you are heading in the right direction. Luka, you amaze me! Your artistic talent was so encouraging to your mom. She was so very proud of your academic excellence in school and your funny entertainment at home. Mande, Your mom loved spending time with you right after school to hear about your day and your studies. I could go on and on about memories made in the past year. What I remember most about your mom (besides her smile) is her love for God and for her children. Now, she is no longer in pain and is forever in heaven with God awaiting your arrivals! May she rest in peace.

Felistus, My Spiritual Sister & Friend, I would always remember your courageous smile, your tall stunning walk.Your short request in Sunday School/Bible Class: "come and sit here with me" with that beautiful smile, began a great Friendship. I feel so blessed to be with Pattie,John and Susan And Justina who took you completely under their wings. I have learn to be less selfish from knowing Bear Creek Families. Your journey was rough, you fought the battle, lost on earth WON IN HEAVEN. On Sunday, October 5th you stated strongly " It is well with your soul" you repeated several times to me. You have left us all with that joy.RIP. To the children, you all are The Lord's Angels and He would keep you all always in The Palm of His Hands. Jean You have done Tasks beyond and for that The Lord would shower you with Mountain of Blessings.
