Henry (Hank) Schaeffer Eyberse, 86, of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed peacefully October 12, 2013 in Houston,TX. He fought courageously before he surrendered and took his journey. He was surrounded by his loving family. Hank was a great husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Frances Elaine Niskern Eyberse. Hank is survived by his 2 daughters and their spouses, Linda and Mike Williams of Cypress, Texas and Kathie and Danny Deptula of Storrs, Connecticut. His grandchildren, Sage Williams of Cypress, TX., Myklyn Williams, of Houston, TX. and Dan Deptula Jr. of Mansfield, Connecticut. He also leaves behind his precious dog Poco.
Hank was a retired Air Force Master Sargent who was proud to have served his country. He worked for Mountain States Investment Corporation before going on to work for the University of New Mexico as a systems analyst. He retired from UNM in 1986. Hank loved traveling, woodworking, and reading on his iPad.
