John Anthony Cilia

John Anthony Cilia, 71, of Houston, Texas passed away December 28, 2011.

Born December 14, 1940 in San Jose, California, he lived in San Jose then Fremont, California before moving to Houston in 1998. John worked at FMC/United Defense for 37 years until his retirement in 1997.

Survivors include Helen, his wife of 47 years; daughters Sheila Hawthorn, Paula Cilia and Lynda Allard; brothers Joe and Vince Piazza and Roy Cilia; grandchildren Thomas, Jessica and Nicholas Hawthorn and great-grandson Ryan Clark. John was preceded in death by his parents Appollonia (John) and Rose Cilia; brothers Frank and Jim Piazza and sister Theresa Jabin.

Services will be held at a later date.

Daddy I miss u so very much. You are now with our heavenly father and jesus christ. It will be eight on December 28, 2019. I'm always thinking about you. You are truly missed always. I wish u will be here when I get married to your son in law Brandon, and to walk me down the aisle. We know u will be here with us on Dec 7 in spirit. We love u daddy always. Until we met again.

Daddy i miss u so much on June 20 2021 it will be fathers day i'm going to have a hard time on that too i really wish u were here i my life has been so hard without u here i am so stressed out all the time. i think about u all time time i also cry myself to sleep. I love u daddy!
