
Joseph "Joey" Heering, 48, passed away on May 22, 2025 in Houston, Texas. He was born on August 23, 1976 in Houston, Texas.
Joey was an avid hunter and fisherman and was happiest when he was at a fishing pond or in a deer blind. He was funny and selfless. He would give anything to anybody if he thought they needed it. He always made you laugh and was the person you wanted to be around.
Joey was a caring soul who will be missed by those who loved him. He was a great friend and a wonderful son.
He is survived by his mother, Barbi & her husband Jim; his father Chip & wife Debbie; his daughter, Avery; his siblings, Jamie, Tracy, Charles, Sandra, and Helen; his aunt Judy & husband David, Uncle Steve & wife Hope, and Uncle Andy & wife Jaime; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Stephen; his baby sister, Carrie Lee; his grandparents, Joseph Barkley & Melba Barkley; Marjorie Williams, and Jake Heering.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 12:00p to 12:30p and the funeral will start at 12:30p. Burial will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Joey's name to the Tourette Association of America.
