Lula Mae Henry, 73, passed away on June 23, 2020 in Houston, Texas. She was born on October 9, 1946 in Belle Grande, Florida to Felton McKinley & Annie (Grantlin) McKinley.
She is survived by her daughter, Nina Brown; granddaughter, Gabrielle A. Brown & husbandReuben Davis, Jr.; brother, Herbert Lee McKinley, Sr.; 3 sisters, Hazel McKinley, Doris McKinley Goudeu; and Nellie McKinley Mele & husband Gerald; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years in 2010, Charles Henry; her son, William Edmonds III; sister, Annie Ruth McKinley; and two brothers, James McKinley and Willie McKinley.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday morning, July 1, 2020 at 11 AM at Carmen Nelson Bostick Historic Cemetery (12317 Holderrieth Rd, Tomball, TX 77375).

I met Lula through my sister Brenda Arab in New Jersey several years ago.
I visited her at her home which she was so proud of. She loved fine things and people. Never knew a stranger.
In 2018, I visited my son who lives in Sealy, TX. Before I left the Houston area, I got to visit with her and sit and talk.
Now she is absent from the body and present with the Lord.
