Pedro S. Alvarado

Pedro S. Alvarado, 62, passed away on March 27, 2021 at the Memorial Hermann hospital in Houston, Tx after a courageous fight against COVID-19. Pedro was born on February 23, 1959 in La Cañada de Yucuaiquin, El Salvador to Epifanio Orellana and Elena Alvarado. 

 

Pedro graduated from The National Institute of Uluazapan in San Miguel, El Salvador in 1972. At the age of 23 he met the most beautiful woman he’d seen Teresa Castro who would become his inseparable half. They were married on May 28, 1983. Soon after Pedro and Teresa were expecting their fist child Miguel. Pedro then migrated to Houston, Tx USA looking for better life opportunities for his family. Pedro’s second son Samuel was born and was able to bring his family to Houston in 1988. Pedro worked as a machine operator in the plastics industry. He worked there for 35 years. He had been a faithful and active member of The Light of the World Church for over 40 years. He enjoyed trying cuisines of all kinds, life, nature, outdoors, swinging on his hammock, fishing, recreational time with family, but most of all spending time with his loved ones. 

 

Pedro is survived by his wife, Teresa Alvarado; their 2 sons Miguel Alvarado and wife Elisama, Samuel Alvarado and wife Sua-Ahira; their 2 grandchildren Abigail and Azriel; and his older brother Miguel Antonio Orellana. 

 

He is preceded in death by his parents; Epifanio Orellana and Elena Alvarado. 

 

Services will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 in the chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Due  to COVID protocols Visitation will be an intimate service for immediate family only.  Burial will follow at Carmen Nelson Bostick Cemetery, Inc. 12317 Holderrieth Rd. Tomball, Tx 77375 at 1pm. 

 

The family would like to thank all friends and family who have been supportive in these difficult times.
