Robert A. Morales passed away after an extended illness on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. He was born on September 13, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Arthur and Helen Morales. He lived his entire life in and around the Houston area and made the most of all it has to offer.
Robert was happily married to his high school sweetheart, Anne Lucas Morales, for nearly 58 years. A favorite pastime of theirs was fishing the waters of Texas and Louisiana. As well, he was an ace tournament tennis player and loved to hunt, dance, and play the clarinet. Being with family and friends was his favorite pastime.
Robert worked in sales for industrial grade air conditioning and pumps his entire career. In this time, he owned and operated Morales and Associates for several decades, finishing out his career as an influential figure at Delta T Equipment. He loved his work, his co-workers and colleagues in the industry. His impact on them and Houston as it grew is immeasurable.
Robert is survived by his wife, Anne Morales, his mother, Helen Welch, sisters Helen Stanley (Roger Hord), Diane Morales, and Deborah Morales, son David Morales (Stephanie Willard), grandsons Devin and Samuel Morales, daughter-in-law Ena Morales, sister-in-law Glynda Lucas, and a loving extended family of cousins and other relations. Robert’s son, Brian Morales, and his father, Arthur Morales, predeceased him.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place on Saturday, June 13th, at Cafe Benedicte at 15455 Memorial Dr, Suite 100, Houston, TX, at 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
