Sandra Ann Davis (Miller), age 73 passed away in the early hours of December 4, 2022 in Houston, TX after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sandra was born in 1949 in Allison Park, PA and raised by her parents Charles and Roberta "Jane" Miller.
She moved her family to Houston in 1987 in pursuit of better opportunities as a single mother of four and settled into a satisfying career as an administrative assistant. She returned to Pittsburgh in 2000 to support her aging father and stayed until 2019 when she herself was dealing with multiple health issues and relocated back to Houston to be closer to her children. In her free time she enjoyed eating crawfish, reading, sitting out on her patio in her rocking chair, watching game shows and snuggling with her two cats. She was a Steeler fan since childhood and began cheering for the Astros as well later in life. She was a member of Christ the Servant church and enjoyed attending Sunday services.
Sandra is survived by her children James (Bonnie) Leach of Raleigh, NC, Charles (Mindi) Leach of Waller, TX and Veronica Wagner of Richmond, TX. She was also an incredibly proud grandmother to Cheyenne, Spencer, Charlotte and Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Robert Wagner and her sister Virginia Mick.
A private Memorial service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to a cancer organization or an animal rescue organization of your choice.
