Sarah Alice Warner

Sarah Alice Warner of Houston, Texas, passed away at the age of 74 on March 30, 2022.  She was born on August 7, 1947 in De Ridder, Louisiana to George and Louise Warner. 

Sarah graduated from La Grange High School in Lake Charles, LA in 1965. She then attended Mc Neese University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics in 1969.  After university, Sarah went to work at PPG as a Lab Analyst, where she worked for 18 years, before moving with her mother to Houston, TX to be close to her sister, Sue and her family.  Sarah worked as a Lab Analyst for several years after arriving in Houston, until she was offered a role as a Home Economics teacher at La Marque High School.  Sarah loved teaching but made the difficult decision to retire early when she fell ill with Lupus.  Sarah was a vibrant woman who lived life to the fullest.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, making stained glass, watching old movies and British television programs, spoiling her dogs and collecting beautiful things.  Sarah was a nurturer who loved her friends and family fiercely, and she will be greatly missed by all.

Sarah is survived by her brother Ken Warner & wife Kathy Delaney, her sister Susan Lyssy & husband William Lyssy, and her brother Kirk Warner.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Kerry Morgan.

Services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:30 am at Carmen Nelson Bostik Cemetery in Tomball, Texas.
