Sonya was a classy lady. She was a great co-worker, a good friend and a great teacher. She always had a smile and was always willing to go the extra mile to help someone.

Sonya loved the color brown and she made the best Kool-Aid ever. Sonya will be missed greatly.

Alway and forever in our hearts.

A beautiful lady both inside and out. A dear friend, an exceptional employee, and a great mother. Sonya was sweet, kind, funny, and a great listener. Sonya was a gift from God for all of us who helped open our eyes to the beauty of life and its meaning. Sonya will be deeply missed but in our hearts forever. I am thankful to have gotten to know such a pure soul and a living angel. Thank the Heavens above for their gift to us.

I did not know Sonya long, but she will always be my sister, my family. It is easy to know about the life a person has lead by the legacy of friends and family that they leave behind. Even though I cannot be with the family at this time, I do want them to know that my deepest Love goes out to all of her family at this time. Sonya's spirit and legacy will live on thru the love and compassion of all those that love her. The blessing is that GOD has a special plan for his newest Angel, Sonya Isom. So lets smile every time we hear the bells the holiday season, because it is a reminder that Sonya is an Angel that has recieved her wings.

Losing someone is never easy, forgetting someone you loved so deeply is never easy.

A friend an aquaintance someone that touched your life, changed your life and involved their life into your life, has left this earth for a better place.

Losing them to the man that made them, created them, breathed life into them has taken his prized position back to sit with him.

My friend, my dear friend how we miss you, think about you and love you.

Losing someone is never easy, forgetting someone you loved so deeply is never easy.

The time shared between us will never be forgotten but cherished, forever changing my life with your memories and your words.

My friend, my dear friend how we miss you, think about you and love you.

Heaven is your new home, smiling down on the lives you have changed with the life you have lived before us. You will be missed.

My friend, my dear friend.

First of all I want to give my condolence to the Isom family. I had a chance to know Sonya from Brookshire and we also worked for Citigroup together. Sonya was quiet person but at the same time once she would start to talk with that soft voice, you would say I did think she could talked. I know for a fact she loved her family, but most of all she would ever talk about to me was her Jasmine and Lance she adored them. To Patrick just remember the good times you all had I would always tease her about how close you all live to each other than you all start dating. Love always Sheila Curry- Blouin

I have known Sonya and her family for 15 years, I also had the pleasure of working with Sonya at two different places as well. I was roomates with one of her sisters for almost 10 years, however Sonya and I had become much closer once our time at Citi Bank had ended. I was very depressed and Sonya and I had many talks, she wasn't the type of person that would allow you to wallow in self pity, she could be tough and would not think twice to give you a swift kick in the rear when needed, hearing her uplifting words really helped me get things in order and to stop feeling sorry for myself, she was a kind and gentle soul, that didnt judge people, just accepted them, she would give you the shirt off her back to help someone. I remember in 1997 Sonya gave her sister and I the most beautiful cat I had ever seen, not because she didn't want the cat who she named after herself "Monet" but Sonya had just had her baby, who was her world..then and still , I spoke with
Sonya a few weeks before her death to let her know Monet had died, and I know she is holding her.. in Heaven.. it was a honor to have her as a friend and an honor to be one of her paul bearers. I'll never forget when you would cook for Lyn and me, we would have spaghetti for weeks!! We will miss you and love you, always..Baby Sonya.. Roy

I've known Sonya from the time we worked together at the Associates. Because of her strength, compassion and determination, she's always been a friend I've try to model myself against with her ability to land on her feet. My thoughts to her family and little Jazmine. I will miss her so very much!
