Sue has been my faithful Christian friend for 18 years. She was witty, smart, sweet, funny, compassionate and talented...but most of all she was courageous and always gave "all of the glory" to our Lord and Savior. I will miss the little things with Sue and will treasure the many memories we shared. She loved her husband, her daughter, her grandchildren and her cousin (and husband) and didn't want to leave them...but, I know she adored Jesus and now she is with Him and no longer in pain. I'll love you forever, Sue

a great christian witness every time i meet her from the first. her effoerts in all areas of the church, teaching choir, teaching music to pupils of all ages, it's the type of life i hope i'm leading. her presence is missed, but she is not missed, her comtributions live on in large or small part in all of us she taught, loved, interacted with, and live with. we have been blessed to have had her and not she is where she always hoped she would be living with the father in heaven. thanks Sue for passing our way

For the last seven years Dr. Jack and Sue have meant so very much to me. Being the new kid on the block at First Christian Child care was not easy.
Sue was always so very sweet and kind and so very supportive and a true Christian.
I will miss her but I know that God has her in his loving care.

On my desk sits a picture of myself with Sue and Dr. Jack.
On a regular basis one of our students (Gizeyah) would come into my office and say. "That's you Ms. Carolyn, and that's Mrs. Keenon and she's sick but that's ok cause Dr. Jack takes care of her."
It always moved me to tears. I shared it with Dr. Jack and Sue. Children are so very special. On the Friday before her birthday I called Sue and the children sang happy birthday to her. She told me to tell them she loved them and that she loved me. It was the last time I got to speak to her. I will keep the memory of her in my heart always.

Sue's bright spirit, faith, and zest for life impressed me from the moment we met. She was truly a lovely person, and I will always be thankful that I had the chance to be her friend for even a little while. I'm certain she'll be watching over all of us.

Sue has been like part of our family. She was the first person I really got to know when I first moved to Texas after getting married. She graciously sang alto loudly in my ear at the First Presbyterian Church so I could hear the alto line. Through the years she has been like a sister to me. After 35 years, she is going to be greatly missed. I loved her since of humor! She could make you laugh over everything ,even when she was late into her illness we laughed. She always saw the best in people and was extremely compassionate. Even when she was feeling awful she would check with me on minor things. A truer friend you will never find. We all have lost a truly amazing woman with so many talents. I thank God for our relationship and know that she is in a better place. My heart goes out to Jack, her husband, who she loved dearly.
I miss you Sue! Love Leslie
