In Memory of
Teresa Nell Fisher
-

Teresa “Tressy” Nell Fisher, passed away on December 5th, 2009 at the age of 59 after a courageous battle with liver cancer.

Teresa was a hardworking and dedicated individual. She spent over 10 years as an Accountant in the Oil & Gas Industry, in her professional life she worked at several companies prior to joining Murex Petroleum Corporation, where she was employed as a Revenue Accountant. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. As an SFA alumni and die-hard Lumberjack she was involved in several fundraisers and social events sponsored by the university.

Teresa’s co-workers and close friends described her as an extremely conscientious, compassionate and honorable woman. She was quick to make friends with her innocence and endearing child-like qualities. She was tender-hearted, thoughtful and caring to everyone she came in contact with.

Teresa had an unconditional love for animals, movies and French Toast from IHOP. Having spent her entire life as a devoted and loyal Catholic she showed strength and integrity in every situation. Teresa lived her life by the Golden Rule and never passed judgment on her peers. Teresa’s heart overflowed with love for her four cats Max, Tiger, Scully and Lil’ Bit, as well as her four birds and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margola and Harold Fisher.

She was a truly selfless human being, who touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are never alone. Turn to the Holy Scriptures for guidance and to help soothe your heart. Psalms 34;18 assures us that God is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit. Please accept my deepest sympathies
