Terry Haywood Keith passed away in Austin on February 12, 2022. Terry was born on December 7, 1926 in Houston to Arlene Booth Keith and Henry Haywood Keith.
He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Betty Ann Keith, and his sister, Joanna Keith Fabling.
Terry leaves behind his wife of 15 years, Nancy Rees Newman Keith, his son, William H. Keith, his daughter Liza (Edward) Ehlers, step-daughter Elaine (Radu Manolescu) Newman, and step-sons, John (Cat Lindsay) Newman, and Wesley (Denise) Newman, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and many friends.
Terry graduated from San Jacinto High School (Houston) in 1943, served from 1944 to 1946 in the United States Navy, and graduated from the University of Texas (Austin) in 1949, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He was a successful commercial realtor.
We would like to give special thanks to the wonderful staff at Westminster, especially Katharine Cody and his assistant, Dalmacio Cespesdes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 25th at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston.
