Thomas Ray Boedeker, 64, passed away in Houston, Texas on July 25, 2014. He was born on June 4, 1950 in Shiner, Texas to Martin Morris Boedeker, Sr. and Adeline Ray (Hobizal) Boedeker.
He is survived by his father, Martin Morris Boedeker Sr. of Shiner, TX; daughter, Michelle Boedeker & husband Arthur Snead and their son, Tristin
of Richmond, TX; son, Michael Boedeker & his children, Mikey & Anna of Springfield, MA; 5 brothers, Morris Boedeker of Shiner, TX, Donnie Boedeker & wife Shirley of Shiner, TX, Martin "Jay" Boedeker Jr. & wife Suzie of Lovelady, TX, Randy Boedeker & wife Linda of Hallettsville, TX, and David Boedeker & wife Tracey of Shiner, TX; sister, Sally Wolter & husband Brian of Victoria, TX; and numerour nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Adeline Boedeker.
A Memorial Service will be held on August 9, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the United Lutheran of Shiner (1103 N Avenue B, Shiner, TX 77984).

Michelle and Michael, I am a cousin of your Dad's. All of us cousins used to have so much fun growing up in Shiner on weekends at Boedeker's Place. My sister Denise and I used to go down to the creek with "The Martin Boys" and drink cherry vodka and smoke cigarettes. And we didn't even get in trouble by our parents. I talked and visited with your Dad at the Boedeker Reunion a couple of years ago. It was good to catch up. He will be missed. I will see you at the Memorial. Take care

It was my great pleasure to know Tommy. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. It is my honor to have his beautiful daughter Michelle as my daughter-in-law, and it is my great joy to have Tristin as my grandson. I can only hope that your loving family will find peace and comfort in knowing that you now dwell in the house of our Lord. Your struggle is over now Tommy, rest easy. We will all miss you.

To my long time neighbor - you will be missed! I will always look towards your house expecting to see you wave or be at the end of my driveway waiting for Tristin's bus... Shelby and I both loved watching you with your grandson, playing tag or fishing from the bed of your truck in the driveway - you adored him and he you, it was a beautiful thing to watch. Rest easy Tommy, I will still look your way - to me you are still there.
