Virginia Ruth Williams, 95, passed away on September 29, 2024 in Houston, Texas. She was born on June 30, 1929 in Marion, Union Parrish, Louisiana to Primos Washington and Verta Nelson Washington.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Aubrey Maxie & wife Erica, and Katrina Maxie; 3 great-grandchildren; and her sister: Gloria McGowen.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Bessie Maxie; her beloved husband, James
Williams; and her siblings, Velma Washington Jackson, James Washington, Leon Washington, Audrey Washington, Betty Comeaux, and George Harvey Washington.
Graveside Service will be on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 11 AM at Carmen Nelson Bostick Historic Cemetery (12317 Holderrieth Rd., Tomball, TX 77375)
Romans 12:10 - "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."
1 Peter 4:10-11 - "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord."
