We're not sure how long we have known Clara, but many years since Richard/Drena were friends and neighbors in San Antonio. A wonderfully warm women with a big heart, full of love, fun and a twinkle in her eye. The Obit was right, she did love bling and had a lot of fun with it. Also, one of the great cooks, specializing in good home country cooking. We loved Clara. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and comfortable, which, by the way, was passed on to her daughter, Drena and grandson, Mike. Our condolences to all the family.

The world lost the most amazing woman when you left us Nanny! It was a true honor for anyone to have known her and be loved by her, and thankfully by the grace of God I was able to call her my grandmother. She had an infectious smile that would light a room. She was truly the most kind hearted, loving, and beautiful woman anyone and I was blessed to have had her in my life. I love you Nanny. RIP
