In Memory of
Holli Michelle Rabon
-

Holli Michelle Rabon was born in August 20, 1977 in Lapeer, MI, passed away on June 21, 2014 after a 6 year battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, James Rabon VI, her two children, Kaylee and Jay (James VII).

She resided in Houston for the last 16 years after being in the Army where she and her husband met and married in 1996. Her in-laws James Jr. and Patricia Rabon live in Missouri City, TX. Her sister-in-law, Shona and husband Damon Goodner live in Austin, TX with their sons Cole and Ethan.

Holli is also survived by her parents, Timothy and Carol McQueen, her two sisters, Amanda (Matt) Dhooghe, Michelle (Anthony) Asaro, and her nieces and nephews Hannah, Hunter, Hailey, Isabellah and Jackson who all reside in Lapeer, MI.

Holli was always very active in her children’s lives and helped out when she could with Kaylee’s Girl Scout troop #28065 and Jay’s Cub Scout pack #282. She loved sewing, camping, and baking and always made desserts for Palmer Elementary where her children attend school. She enjoyed traveling and her favorite vacation spot was Disney World.

We would like to thank you to Dr. Bowers and Dr. Rogg for the loving care and compassion that they showed for Holli at the VA hospital.

Visitation will be Thursday June 26th from 2-4PM, immediately followed by the funeral at Christ United Methodist Church (3300 Austin Parkway in Sugar Land, TX 77479; 281-980-6888). A gravesite burial will be held at the Houston VA cemetery at 10:15 am on Friday June 27th.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help cover medical and funeral expenses that the family incurs. GoFundme.com/1gpilo

Hollie was special part of our girl's troop. Very loving to her kiddos and family. I'm so glad I got to know her and her sweet family! She was taken too soon and I hope the children can take some comfort in the wonderful memories their mom has made for them.

To the Family of Mrs. Holli Rabon:

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. To lose a dearly beloved one brings much pain and grief. However, God's word the Bible promises a resurrection hope and comfort. John 5 : 28, 29 says : "..all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..."

I hope this future promise brings comfort to your family.

Once again, please accept my sincerest and deepest condolences.

Sincerely,
DF
