She is survived by her son, Eskico Garner, III; daughters, Ursula P. Smith, and Aisha Thompson; grandchildren, Jeffrey Smith, Jr., Elysha Iwueke, Jerome Smith, Elyjah Ford, and Keneisha Kimble; great-grandchildren, Jaela Smith, Javien Smith, Kadyn Smith, J'Honesty Smith, Isaiah Iwueke, Ke'maree Kimble, Ki'sean Kimble, Ki'ahn Kimble, Mya Taylor, Jeremiah Smith, and Jackson Smith; and great-great-grandchild, Camden Taylor; and 2 brothers, David Thompson Jr. and Michael Thompson.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Alma Lee Thompson; brother, Wilbur Lee Thompson, Jr.; brother, George Jones; sister, Helen Marie Copeland; brother, Rev. Clifford Thompson; sister, Laurie Thompson; cousin, Nancy Motte; and grandson, Javiere Smith.
A visitation service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service from 10 am to 2 pm.
