Onofre Alvarado Diaz

Onofre Alvarado Diaz, a beloved spouse, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, sibling, uncle, and extraordinary friend, peacefully passed away on December 25, 2024, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 90. Born on June 11, 1934, in Venezuela, Onofre touched the lives of all who knew him with his kindness, wisdom, and humor.
 
Onofre's heart was as vast as his character, and his legacy lives on in the cherished family members who will forever honor his memory with love and gratitude. He is survived by his son, Omar Alvarado, and daughter-in-law, Onoria Chavez de Alvarado; his grandchildren, Andreina M. Alvarado de Roa and Carlos Roa, Omar E. Alvarado and Stephanie Duron, and Omar J. Alvarado; as well as his great-grandson, Samuel E. Roa Alvarado. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Yolanda Moran Arenas.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Beresford Funeral Service in Houston, Texas. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by the Memorial Service at 1:00 PM.
