In Memory of
Ted J. Sternad
-

Ted J. Sternad, age 54, passed away on June 20, 2022 after fighting for two months to recover from an aggressive brain hemorrhaging in the Hospital with his Daughter Rose, and Girlfriend Angela by his side. He was born on April 23, 1968 in Cleveland, Ohio to Gerald S. Sternad and Marie L. (Pietila) Sternad as the youngest of two boys.

Ted grew up and graduated from Fairview High School in Cleveland, Ohio where he was part of the wrestling team and band in high school. After high school, he attended Junior College for two years to Major in Finance. This is where he met his wife of 13 years, Stephanie Seeyle. They married  on March 19, 1994. In 1994 they brought their first child into the world, a Daughter, named Rose. Two years later, he finished up his BBA degree at Cleveland State University in 1996 following the birth of his second child, a son, Brian. Ted was the first of  his family to receive a college education and loved being from the home of the Vikings. They continued to live as a family in Ohio until the Summer of 2004 ,when they moved from Ohio to Texas. Upon moving to Texas, they resided with Family on Stephanie's side and relocated to Houston, where the family continued to grow. In 2007, Ted and Stephanie seperated and later divorced. They remained friends. Ted worked in various underwriting positions at different insurance companies until he landed one at American Risk Insurance, where he continued to work, for over 10 years. He was promoted to Underwriting manager eventually and continued to assist the company to grow state-wide. He lived to see his two kids graduate from high school and had many friends whom he made over the years. One being the most important, his girlfriend Angela, whom he met in Summer of 2017. Over the years they had many adventures together. From dive bars to polish festivals you could count the two always being together. Ted was a hardworking man who did everything in his power to provide for those who he loved most. He was a musically talented person who was kind no matter what. He was practically a walking encyclopedia and overall a big goof. With his ever growing collection of Stokes jerseys and his lame dad jokes, We miss him greatly and cherish the memories we do have with him.

Ted is survived by his two children, Rose and Brian Sternad; Ex-wife Stephanie Seeyle; Girlfriend Angela Hoover; Brother, Ron Sternad and Mother and Father, Marie and Gerald Sternad.

Service will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service, from 12pm-2pm. After the memorial service- we invite anyone to meet after, for lunch. Place is TBA. Address is listed below.
