Vivian Vardeman was born May 29, 1923 to Wess and Ethel Vardeman. On January 31, 1953, she married Bob Henricksen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and older brother and sister - Thomas Eugene "Gene" Vardeman and Opal Channel. Vivian passed away at her home, Wednesday, August 29, 2018.
She was a very classy lady. She was always smiling, friendly, and outgoing. She devoted herself to her family. Many weekends, Aunt Dood drove from Houston to Laneville to care for her mother, to give
Many years, Vivian and her cousins, Louise and Maxine, would drive up to the Isabell Chapel reunions.
Vivian, having a servant's heart, put all her talents, time, and breath to being a servant to others by serving in the Women's Auxilliary of the VFW. Her committment had to be guided by our Lord. Each life she touched will surely miss her.
Most of her family and friends have gone on before. She was ready to see them again.
She is survived by her son, Dean Henricksen, nephew Michael Vardeman Sr., great-nieces and nephews, Debbie Furra, Shelly Matlock, Mike Vardeman Jr. and Jason Vardeman, and great-great-nieces and nephews, and friends.
She had a long, good life. Services will be held at Isabell Chapel on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:30 AM and conducted by Brother Clint Johnson. Pallbearers: Michael Vardeman, Sr., Mike Vardeman, Jr., Brett Vardeman, Jonathan Reynolds, Bobby Black, and Jimmy Francis.

"Sis" a break. Many times before she went back home, Henry, "Sis", Dood, and Imogene would go "the farm" - their childhood home place.
