In Memory of
Brenda Joyce Summons
-

In loving memory of Brenda J. Summons, a beacon of light and love who graced this world from October 27, 1948, to August 25, 2025. Brenda was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend whose presence brought joy, love and laughter to all who knew her. Born in the heart of Houston, TX, Brenda was the epitome of grace and kindness. She was raised in a close-knit family that instilled in her the values of compassion, integrity, and perseverance. Brenda's warmth and generosity knew no bounds, and her loving spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Throughout her life, Brenda was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother to her children and family, a loyal friend to many. She found immense joy in simple pleasures, whether it was cooking meals for her loved ones, or sharing laughter with friends. Brenda had a deep love for family and spent countless hours listening to music, she had an affinity for math and exploring the beauty in living life to the fullest. As we bid farewell to Brenda, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire us all.

Brenda is survived by her loving Daughter, Deanna; Sons, John, Dietrich, & Deamioune; Grandchildren, Channing, Dylan, Jalin, Jawon, Jasmine, Sarah, Christian, Alexander, Brendan, Dominic, Dylan II, and Kyrie; nieces, nephews, many other family members, and a host of friends who will forever cherish her memory.

As we gather to honor Brenda's memory, let us take comfort in the knowledge that she is at peace with Christ, surrounded by the love of her heavenly Mother, Father, Husband and Sons, Roland, Jarrad & Nicholas. Brenda's life may have come to an end, but her legacy will endure for generations to come, a testament to the power of love to transcend even the boundaries of mortality.

In honoring Brenda J. Summons's extraordinary life, let us celebrate the countless moments of happiness and wisdom she imparted on all of us. Her laughter, a sweet melody that resonated with joy, will forever echo in our hearts. Brenda's nurturing spirit was like a garden in perpetual bloom, ever vibrant and full of life. Her dedication to her family and friends was unwavering, and her acts of kindness, both great and small, were the threads that wove the fabric of her rich and fulfilling life.

Auntie will truly be missed. With her fierce love for her family, her infectious laughter, and her special nicknames for EVERYONE, she touched so many lives. I'm thankful for the time I had with her. I pray strength and peace for the Summons and Randolph family, and that the loving memories bring comfort in the days and months to come. I love you all.
