In Memory of
Jeffrey James Kuhn
-

Jeffrey James Kuhn, a sinner saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, entered the presence of the Lord on July 22,2025. Jeff was born on November 28, 1949, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to parents Stanley Kuhn and Patricia Hines Kuhn. Both preceded him in death in Houston, Texas.
Raised in Indianapolis, Jeff spent several years working in Florida after marrying in 1970. Jeff moved to Houston, Texas, in 1983, and worked as a finance manager. He became a member of Spring Cypress Presbyterian Church in 1989 and, over the years, served there as elder, treasurer, and small group leader. He loved Sunday worship, small group Bible study, visiting the sick, and going to lunch with his friends. He enjoyed sports and especially followed the Houston Astros, the Florida Gators, and the PGA.

Jeff is survived by his daughter Raena Kuhn Barnes, grandson Brendan Barnes, granddaughter Tobie Barnes Williams and great grandson Parker Williams who all reside in Florida. He is also survived by his Texas family: his sister Vicki and brother-in-law Joe Carstens, and numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews who loved him and miss him: Taylor, Laura, Conor, Micaelyn, Jaxson, Lee, Keeley, Kye, Jolee, Courtney, Joey, Kelly, Melanie, Evan, Jeremiah, Maribeth, Collin, Stephanie, Emma, Adam, and Ava.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made to Spring Cypress Presbyterian Church, 6000 Spring Cypress Road, Spring, TX 77379.
