In Memory of
Matthew Shaun Hall "Billy Bob" Dickinson
-

Matthew Shaun Hall "Billy Bob" Dickinson, 43, passed away in Houston, Texas on March 14, 2016. He was born on March 1, 1973 in Springfield, Illinois to Clifford Dickinson and Leslie Ryan.

Matt did a lot of living in his short time on this earth. His star burned so brightly that he made an unforgettable impression on everyone who knew him. He loved to laugh and maybe, more importantly, he loved to make others laugh and he shared his quick wit with the audience when he took his show on the road and did stand-up comedy. He loved music and to dance, thinking he had some pretty good moves. His jeep was his most steady girl and one of his greatest sources of joy. He has a brilliant mind and applied that to his career in computer networking and his beloved video games. He loved his pets, having dogs most of his life. He loved the outdoors, especially if that included a Houston Texans football game, as he was their biggest fan. Matt brought light to so many. He cared so much for others as evidence of his many friends and loved ones. He will truly be missed.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Leslie Ryan.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Dickinson; his father, Clifford Dickinson; sisters, Melissa Zamora, Emily Dickinson, Madeline Dickinson, & Synthia Dickinson; a brother, Samuel Dickinson; aunts, Kathy Draxler, & Laura Rieger; Uncle, Grant Ryan; grandmother, Phyllis Taylor; nephews, Vincent Zamora, Matthew A. Dickinson; a cousin, Tracie Dickinson-Taylor; and other cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 28, 2016 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service.

Billy Bob, we will never forget you. We've had so many amazing memories and times together from TAC, to being roomates at the old place, seeing each other through losses and relationships and many fun adventures. Katie and I will always credit you with introducing us. I wish you wish you were still here but at least you are free and without pain. Rest in peace, bro. Love you man!
