Tribute from his wife, Olubunmi -

Oluseye mi Owon (My dear Oluseye), I didn’t know it would be so soon but God knows best. Where do I start from without you, you have been my best friend and my confidant for over a decade. You were that one person I could always trust to be there for me. I thank God for the time we spent together and I would forever cherish those times. I learnt a lot from you, at the top of that is never to worry about things especially when I can’t control the outcome. You were so upright, selfless in all you do, no matter how inconvenient, you always found a way to be there for others. I look at our daughter and don’t even know what I would tell her or how I would raise her without you but then I am glad she is here as she reminds me of you, your smile, your looks, your calmness and I just know I am so blessed to have a child with you. Our daughter keeps saying Daddy, Daddy because she misses you. Oh, my love, you left us with beautiful memories which makes this really difficult to accept but what can I do. I love you so dearly but God definitely loves you more.

I don’t have words right now. All I ask is that God keeps your wife and daughter. May He comfort them in every way. Rest easy brother. You are in a better place!
