Sarah Elizabeth Sackett

Sarah Elizabeth Sackett, 94, went to be with her Savior on April 24, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lennie H. Sackett.

She is survived by her five sons and their families: Beau Jon Sackett, his children Aaron and Naomi Sackett, and his grandchildren Amelia Casper and Annika Jensen; Danny Sackett and Mike Murphy; James and Gloria Sackett and their son Michael; Harold and Ardith Sackett; and Thomas and June Sackett and their daughter Rachel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sackett was a member of the former Westheimer Baptist Church where she taught a women’s Sunday school class for many years. In later years, she was a member and elder of the former New Zion Fellowship.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Bible Society.

Services will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Ashford Community Church (2100 Eldridge Parkway, Houston, TX 77077) with a visitation at 10:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service from 10:30 to 11:30 AM with light refreshments to follow. The burial will be at Linney Cemetery in Dayton, Texas at 3:00 PM.
