Shelby passed away on January 2, 2012.
He is survived by his wife Lindsey, parents Speedy and Lisa Collins, his grandparents Granny, Opa and Oma. His brothers Shonathon, Irron, Ivan, nephew Christian, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him very much.
Shelby was born in Norman, Oklahoma and spoke of many fond memories of spending time there with his grandparents, especially the times he went hunting and fishing with his Opa. It was there that he developed his great love for the outdoors.
Shelby had many friends and enjoyed
Shelby loved all animals especially dogs and would have had a kennel full of his four legged friends if he could.
Shelby had many talents and was gifted with the use of his hands. When working on the things he was very passionate about like cars, motorcycles or saltwater aquariums, the size or scope of the project did not detour him from the job. You never found Shelby too far away from a set of tools. Some of his friends called him "MacGyver" for his resourceful ability to improvise repairs using what ever was on hand including duct tape.
In addition to Shelby's love of all thing mechanical he enjoyed listening to music and playing the guitar. Another passion of his was cooking and trying new recipes, adding his own touches to create a truly unique and tasty dish.
