Shirley Ann Price

Shirley Ann Price (Shirl), 48, resident of Katy, Texas, passed away the morning of January 4th, 2013 surrounded by loved ones, after a short battle against lung and brain cancer.

Shirley was born in Austin, Texas on January 19th, 1964. She grew up in Huntsville, Texas and graduated from Huntsville High School.

Shirley was married on September 24th, 1983 to Wesley Price; they were married 20 years.

Shirley worked in the management industry for various companies for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her only grandchild (Avery Thelen) grow. She was actively involved in the fight against cancer.

Shirley is survived by Wesley Price, daughters Cortney and Heather Price; granddaughter Avery Thelen; mother: Rosalia Thumann; sister Mary Noack, and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch at 22765 Westheimer Parkway Katy, Tx 77450 the morning of Saturday January 19th, 2013. The family has also set up a memorial fund through Wells Fargo in the name of Shirley Price Memorial Fund for anyone who would like to donate. The family of Shirley Ann Price wishes to thank MD Anderson, Cecilia of Katy Flower Shoppe, Patty Henson of Katy Bengal Brigade, Picture People, The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch, and many friends and family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at 1:00pm at The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch in Katy, Texas. Tim Pepper of The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch will be officiating. Service will begin proptly at 1:00pm. A reception for the family will follow the memorial service in the community room at The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch.
