Billie Janet Richey Faulk

Billie Janet Richey Faulk went home peacefully to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, June 16, 2011. She was born November 30, 1936 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She was one of nine children. Billie was an artist and studied art and interior decorating at The University of Colorado. Also, she attended The University of Houston where she obtained her real estate license. She enjoyed a successful career as a realtor for over 30 years. She enjoyed socializing with friends and entertaining in her dinner clubs. Billie had a passion for photography. She loved to sing, dance, play bridge, and travel.

She is preceded in death by her parents George Edgar Richey and Quida Jones Richey; also loving husband, Randall Lacie Faulk; sisters Alma Louise English, Annie Loyce Lawing, Lola Belle Barrett and brother James Edgar Richey. She is survived by her son, Ritchey Lacie Faulk and wife Stephanie of Katy, Texas; her son Christopher Alan Faulk and wife Rebecca of Houston; her daughter Janet Prevato and husband Marcio of Colorado; grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Randy and Andrew Faulk, David and Staci Prevato; brothers George Ed Richey of Dallas, Texas and James Steen of Winfield, Texas; sisters Julia Garrison of Dallas, Texas and Joan Thrapp of Texarkana, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service and interment will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery #1 Winfield, Texas 75455 with Rev. Dane Riddle officiating. A reception will follow at the home of Lewis Barrett, 120 County Road 1035, Winfield, Texas. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Billie will always be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
