Burt will be missed by all. Happy and had great sense of humor, that was Burt. A joy to be around especially after a few drinks. His smile, laughter and soft heart of when he spoke of his grandchildren melted my heart. He was proud husband, father and grandfather. Always spoke with a sweet smile when he mentioned his family.

All those years of fee sheet frustration that we endured but finally we overcame the obstacles. Never afraid to learn how excel made the fee sheet work.

I feel as I was truly blessed to have the chance of knowing such a fantastic human being. My condolences to everyone who loved "Uncle Burt".

Love,
Tina Olivier-Thompson

Burt was truly my best friend for many years while I worked at Universal Fidelity. We shared lunch several days a week. We always talked about old times, and good times. I admired Burt's dedication to his family and I know they are as proud of him as he was of them.

My condolences to Burt's family.

Love, Renate

My "Uncle Burt' who became everyone's Uncle Burt, because he was just that nice. He didn't have an enemy around. Scott H said he will miss his allied in the Simonds family. Uncle Burt has the biggest heart and his loyalty and love for his family was never mistaken. If you were out with him and "outsiders" approached his family his protection stood strong. He could be the life of a party with "Burt talk" or patient with his grandchildren and great niece and nephews. He was an all around Great Guy!

Dear Family and Friends of Burt...
My heart and my prayers go out to you at this very sad time. I will always have very fond memories of Burt.
Whether it was protecting Jessica at the disco that we all used to go to after the management events in the 90's when Brad told him to settle down or there was going to be a fight... or finding me bug spray after the picnics. Burt was always a kind, gentle, and yes, humorous person. He will be missed... My deepest sympathy and condolences to Penny and all of the family.
Love, Melinda Siler and Family

Uncle Burt was everyones friend. Everyone loved him. He was someone you never heard anyone saying one bad thing about. I will miss him and miss hearing all of our fun stories that he loved to tell, like the time on the bus after the Astros game, that was one of his favorites and I never got tired of hearing it. We are all so blessed to have known him and his memory will stay with us forever.
