Carolanne Cadenhead
-

Carolanne passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the age of 50.

She was born on December 1st, 1963 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The family moved to Oregon in 1967. Carolanne attended Molalla High School, class of ’82, and graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in business.

In 1985 she married Jeff Cadenhead and in 1991 they were blessed with a daughter Kathleen. They moved to Cypress, Texas in 1995 and then welcomed an awesome son Matthew in 1998.

Carolanne was a business analyst for Hewlett Packard.

She had a kind heart and a deep appreciation for her friends and family. She loved spending time putting together puzzles and playing games with her family. Carolanne loved animals and had 2 constant companions, Montgomery and Caden, the family Scottish Terriers.

She was survived by her husband, Jeff Cadenhead; daughter Kathleen Cadenhead; son, Matthew Cadenhead; mother, Mavis (Lloyd) McCauley; sisters, Joanne Eckert, & Colleen (Troy) Humphrey. Carolanne was preceded in death by her father Shaen "Sid" Siddorn.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1:00 PM. As this is a celebration of her life, casual attire is welcome.

A special thank you to the wonderful people at Houston Methodist Hospital System and Houston Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to your favorite cancer charity.

There has been a mosaic page set up on the American cancer society for Carolanne.

Poem from Richard Scarry's Mother Goose

There was an old woman tossed up in a basket,
Seventeen times as high as the moon.
Where she was going I couldn't but ask it,
For under her arm she carried a broom.
"Old woman, old woman, old woman," said I,
"Where are you going to, up so high?"
"To sweep the cobwebs out of the sky,
And I'll be with you by and by."

I have known Carolanne for many years and she was my best friend at work. I will always remember her warm smile and her wonderful knowledge of the "accounting world". I will miss our yearly yard sales too. I love you Carolanne.

Jeff,
I have had the pleasure of working with you for many years. You have such a kind and compassionate heart. Although I didn't know your wife personally, I feel like I got to know her through the stories and talks we've shared at work. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers at this tough time. May you keep the special memories of Carolanne in your hearts forever.

Jeff, Kathleen, Matthew, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with Carolanne for over 12 years at HP. Carolanne was such a great employee but more important she was a great friend, and loving Wife and Mother. Through the years Carolanne and I shared so many stories of our children growing up. Kathleen and Matthew, Carolanne was so proud of both you. May the Lord bless you and give you strength now and in the future. With deepest sympathy, Michelle Norris.

I am very sorry to learn of Carol Anne's passing today. I am very shocked. I pray that her passing was peaceful, and that her family is well-supported by Carol Anne's large network of family and friends. May God give you peace.
