Christine Rose Jordan

Christine “Christy” Rose Jordan passed to eternal life on November 19, 2021. A lifelong resident of Houston, Christy was born on August 4, 1972. Christy graduated from St. Agnes Academy and the University of St. Thomas.  She thoroughly enjoyed her many years working with young children at Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy and Crème de la Crème day care. In recent years, Christy started a hobby and small business of making balloon animals for children. For the last nine years, she was a paraprofessional at Cypress Falls High School, helping teenagers with physical and mental disabilities attend classes and achieve a measure of independence. Christy was a very sensitive and caring person, and she held these young people in a special place in her heart. 

Christy is preceded in death by her parents Jean Ann and Barclay Jordan, sister-in-law Connie Jordan, great aunt Connie Hurley, and grandparents. She is survived by her brothers and sisters and their spouses: Tim and Amy Jordan; Terry Jordan-Culler and Bill Culler; Mary Kay and Bob Axford; Mike Jordan; Anne and Randy Adolph; Suzanne and David Krusleski; and Michelle and Paul Jordan.  She is also survived by her much-loved nieces and nephews: Jenny, Chris, Elizabeth, Lisa, Sara, Matthew, Hannah, Erin, Emily, Megan, Song Song, great nephew Graham, and great niece Brie.  Christy took every opportunity to spend time with the children in the family.  

A Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm in the Chapel at Beresford Funeral Home, 13501 Alief Clodine Road; Rosary is at 7:30 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 11:30am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 6646 Addicks Satsuma Road.  Rite of Committal is scheduled at 2 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road.
