I had known Connie since grade school. Even though we didn't always hang in the same groups Connie was never the less someone who really was friendly. When she moved back to town we would run into each other here and there and I did not know right away that she was sick. After I found out I was amazed that she was still working and doing as much as she was. She never gave up!!! That is my tribute to her and she will be missed.

Connie taught me everything I know about open heart surgery at MFGates. She was my teacher, my mentor and my friend and if I can even be half the person she was I will be happy. I miss her so much. She worked so hard and never complained even when she was in pain. I cannot understand why God takes those who are so good so soon, i only know if there are meant to be angels she was one here on earth first. She truly loved everyone especially her family. My heart goes out to them, may they somehow find comfort.
