Our beloved mother, Earlie Hill was loving, outgoing and always about taking care of business. Earlie Hill loved God, family, traveling and her jewelry business.
Earlie Hill passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on February 28, 2024 at the age of 73. She was born November 1, 1950, in Houston, TX to the late Raymond Earl Young, Sr. & Elizabeth Bernice Scott.
Earlie Hill graduated from B.C. Elmore High School where she met and married our father Tommie Earl Jones, Jr. From this union they produced 3 lovely daughters, Quintina C. Jones, Marina L. Jones and LuQuina C. Jones-Bates. (Also known as the “Stank Pots”) After a period of time they divorced, and this is where our mother became a strong and devoted single parent. During this period of her single years our mother decided to go back to school to obtain a degree in Arts. During which she also dedicated her life to Christ and met her husband Hebert Harold Hill. For this brief moment in marriage, they enjoyed a blissful world wind of love.
Earlie Hill has always been known to be a devoted mother and she was loved by all. God picked this lovely rose to complete his bouquet of love. She will truly be missed by all, but her love will always comfort us during our trying times.
Granddaddy, grandma, Vernon (deceased) and Tony (deceased) are truly rejoicing because it’s their time to spend with her.
Our mother leaves behind a loving husband (Hebert Harold Hill) & son (Brandon J. Hill) to cherish her wonderful memories. Her beautiful daughters and awesome son-in-law, Quintina, Marina, LuQuina & spouse (Dominic N. Bates), who will continue to carry on her legacy and be about God and business. Earlie also leaves behind her amazing grandchildren and great-grand children who are as follows: Brianna Mitchell, Jasmine Baugh, Danielle Ogbonna, Marianna Spencer, Taylor C. Bates, Cydney N. Bates, Dominic J. Bates, Quina L. Bates, Chyanne J. Bates, Zariah E. Bates, Aaron A. Bates, Eva Walker (GGB), Nyjah Ogbonna (GGB). Earlie Hill also leaves behind 2 loving brothers Raymond E. Young, Jr., James Young and a slew of cousins, nephews and nieces.
