Isaiah Israel Nduku was born May 22, 2001 at West Houston Hospital in Houston TX to Lucky Nduku and Enita Odofin. Isaiah was raised by Kayode Odofin after his mother remarried in 2014. His father Kayode makes his living as a Fashion Designer and Entrepreneur, while his mother Enita is an Accountant and Entrepreneur in Houston TX. Isaiah has four sisters, Helen Nduku, Damilola Odofin, Tomiloba Odofin, and Gbemisola Odofin. Isaiah has one brother, David Nduku.
Isaiah attended YES Prep West High School where he tutored other students in English and Math. Isaiah earned 2nd place nationally with his school’s Debate team in 2018 at Washington DC during the Marshall-Brennan National MOOT Court Competition. Isaiah enjoyed playing American Football during high school recess and Soccer when younger in Elementary School. Isaiah always volunteered
at Dominion International Center’s Child Department as a Check-In Attendant; he did this for at least three years. For two years, Isaiah volunteered to a Couples Organization named The Institute for Marriage and Family Affairs as a BBQ Cook during summer events and Check-In Attendant during Couples events.
At the age of 18 years, with full scholarship Isaiah got accepted into Lewis & Clarke College in Portland Oregon to study Computer Science for this Undergraduate studies and was hoping to attend this College’s Law Program starting in 2022. Isaiah trained himself to speak Spanish and Japanese fluently. From the age of 8, Isaiah trained himself how to build computers from start to finish and to write computer programs. For 2021 summer, Isaiah was hired to participate in an earthquake research study at Portland Oregon by one of his college professor; he found pure pleasure in this assignment and its purpose for humanity; he spoke about this assignment all the time. Isaiah was a great helper to both of his grandfathers’ Gomez Ezewu and Michael Odofin. Isaiah will be sorely missed, and remembered as God’s Saint and Angel to his mother, father, sisters, grandfathers, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and many educators.
Services will be on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2426 Cullen Blvd., Pearland, TX 77581)
