Ivan Bijoy Bawa
Ivan Bijoy Bawa passed away peacefully in his home in Richmond, Texas on February 14, 2014 after a long struggle with cancer.
Ivan was born in Belguam, India on October 4, 1942. His passion for music led him to be a lifelong musician, and this career took him all over the world. He was an inspiration to
many, and his unmistakable, amazing voice will be missed.
Ivan loved animals, cartoons, guitars, and flying. He was a member of the Bayou City Flyers RC Club and loved to spend time at the Scobee Flying Field.
Ivan is preceded in death by his parents, Ebenezer Kohinoor and Sarah Sarojini Bawa. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his children, Peter, Paul, Philip, Preston, and Priscilla (and her husband Bruce) and their mother, Grace; his grandchildren, Christopher, Madeline, Nicholas, and Allison; his sisters, Agnes, Nina, and Zarina; and numerous members of his extended family.
Ivan's Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral service.
