Jeff Maxwell Whitley

Jeff Maxwell Whitley, 87, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2007. Jeff was proceeded in death by his wife of 54 years; Margaret Whitley, one brother; and two sisters. He is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as other members of extended family. Jeff proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and then worked as a long shoreman. Jeff retired from the Houston Fire Department after 29 years of service. Visitation will take place Saturday, December 15 from 11:00 until 12:30 with the funeral service beginning at 12:30 at The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Houston, 5200 Fannin, Houston, TX 77004. Interment will be at SouthPark Cemetery, 1310 N. Main Pearland, TX.
