Jeff, we called him Scott, was a friend to many people: family, church, work, neighbors, and people everywhere. He loved his alma mater, Houston Baptist University. He was a member of the Student Senate and served as the school’s student photographer. Jeff was especially delighted when they established a football program.
After graduation he worked for the Data General and EMC Corporations for thirty years and became their Senior System Architect.
There were so many things he enjoyed; one of his passions was flying. After obtaining his private pilot's license he loved flying cross-country to eat at out of the way places. He especially liked eating lunch with his friends at Treebeards. Golf was another one his pursuits he shared with his friends.
His church family was special to him. Jeff made a profession of faith in his church in San Antonio. He was a member of the youth group in his home church in Houston known as “The Kings Kids” and went on many mission and youth trips. He financially supported a missionary family in Indonesia.
Family was his pride and joy. Jeff often took his nephews and nieces on trips to concerts, Sea World and even to see Star Wars.
He was a special son, brother, uncle and friend; his warmth and smile will surely be missed by everyone.
