In Memory of
Jerry Oyeisi Agboso
-

Jerry O. Agboso, peacefully passed into the arms of his Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ on the 20th of June 2023 at the age of 41.

He was born in Lagos, Nigeria into a beautiful wholesome family and was naturalized in the United States.

His parents John Onochie and Justina Ashim Agboso, loved him unconditionally just as they should.

Jerry was the first child and twin to his sister, Cynthia Agi Akintonwa. There were so many arguments surrounding who really should be considered the “first child”, especially when it came to picking a plate and would always remind us of his position… “Diokpa” (first born).

Jerry loved to watch movies, was an awesome cook and would announce himself as “Chef Boyardee in this place”. Our Jerry loved engaging in great conversations and had so many words of wisdom and encouragements to people. He had the biggest heart which he shared with so much kindness and generosity. These were some of the live lessons instilled from a very young age by our parents who raised us all with love and the fear of God. He lived that to the fullest potential and impacted positively on the lives he touched.

Our best memories as a family were always nostalgic…boy! We had endless series of conversations relating to our unforgettable childhood.

Life has taught us, death isn’t the opposite of life but an untimely part of it.

It breaks our heart to know that we must live with the fact, knowing that your physical presence will be missed. Yet, we celebrate the departure of your soul as you rest on in the peaceful arms of God.

He survived by his
